ingredients:
250 g flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/4 lemon, grated peel
2 egg whites
1 egg yolk
50 g butter
1 tablespoon of liquid milk
750 ml of cooking oil
125 ml honey
50 g sugar
1 rounded tablespoon trimis
How to make:
1. Mix the flour, salt, sugar, and grated
lemon juice. Stir well.
2. Make a hole in the center of the flour, put the eggs, stir the mixture until blended.
3. Add butter and milk, knead until smooth.
4. Trimmed dough as thick as 1/2 cm, 2 cm wide cut lengthwise.
5. Cut into pieces 1.5 cm long, do it until the dough runs out.
6. Heat oil and fry until golden brown batter. Remove and drain
7. Mix the sugar and honey, cook until sugar dissolves.
8. Enter all struffoli, stir until blended.
9. Arrange on a serving dish shaped like wreaths or pine cone.
10. Sprinkle with trimis and serve.
